You
will be able to walk along a winding boardwalk and view hundreds of
yachts and sailboats; or you can charter a boat to fish on Lake
Michigan. Those of you who are wanting the water action
can rent boats, kayaks, jetskis, pontoons, charter a sailboat,
or a yacht. Captains Quarters has all of the information
available in our lobby.

Walk to Saugautck
and board the chain ferry across the Kalamazoo River
to Mount Baldy. You
will want to climb the 280 plus steps to the top of the
sand dune.
You will
be rewarded by the breath taking views of Saugatuck
and Douglas, the harbor, and Lake Michigan. |
Golfers can play at any of our 18 hole courses. Three
of the courses are located within ½ mile of Captains
Quarters. We will be glad to book your tee times! Just
let us know the date and time when you book your reservation. You
are within walking distance of The Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Check Saugatuck.com for

The Saugatuck and Douglas area is home to dozens of
eating establishments. You
can choose from Greek, American, French, English, and Italian
food. You could also hole up at a local pub and have some
of the best cheeseburgers and onion rings around Southwestern
Michigan!! After a fun filled day come back to Captains Quarters
and relax around the camp fire. Many of our patrons have
met and become friends around our campfire!! |
